There is a tree in Australia that excretes sandalwood natural essential oil. Australian Aborigines eat the nuts and fruits from this sandalwood tree to help heal minor health problems. Acne can also be treated with sandalwood natural essential oil.

The properties that make sandalwood natural oil great for treating acne are astringent, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory. It has the ability to help heal past acne scars. It also kills bacteria on the skin and reduces acne swelling.

There is a great paste that you can apply on your blemishes. The recipe is one tablespoon of sandalwood power, one tablespoon of turmeric powder, and a little honey. It will clear up your acne and blemishes.

If you have dry itchy or sensitive skin, then you need to try putting sandalwood on it. The perfect mixture is a little milk, camphor oil, and sandalwood powder. Mixing limejuice into the mixture will make it perfect for healing rashes.

The mixture of rosewater and sandalwood can help with oily complexions. It will soak up the excess oil and still treat the current acne. It prevents future blockages because it soaks up the excess oil.

Large pores are common after having acne. By mixing and applying sandalwood powder, gram powder, and rosewater or milk or honey you can reduce your pore size. This mixture will also help to shrink your acne and stop breakouts.

The fragrance of sandalwood is strong and warm. Red sandalwood is another option to use because it is just as effective as sandalwood. The only difference is that red sandalwood is odorless.

You will need more than to just treat your acne symptoms with sandalwood. You will need a product that will get to the root of your acne problem. This treatment is natural and does not have any side effects, but some may develop a rash to it.
